GKN Aerospace is a leading innovator in the aerospace industry, and we're seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our high-performing manufacturing team. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in assembling electronic and electrical components and cable harnesses on aircraft, supporting our ongoing activities with a major customer in the Montreal area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic or electrical components and cable harnesses in accordance with work instructions and regulations.
  • Signal damages to wiring if they occur during installation.
  • Check and assess for completeness and correctness of tools, materials, and documentation.
  • Exemplify a safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with GKN Health, Safety, and Environment policies and standards.
  • Uphold the exceptional quality of GKN Fokker Elmo standards and maintain positive team relationships.

Requirements:

  • Experience in wire harness assembly within a relevant industry (aerospace or automotive manufacturing desirable).
  • Diploma from an accredited school in Electrical Cabling or Avionics.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in written form) in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GKN Experience.
  • Bilingual – French and English.
  • Must be willing to work in Mirabel.
  • Experience of aerospace electrical wiring.
