The Clinical Specialist role at Medtronic is crucial in supporting market development efforts for our products. This position requires providing clinical, technical, and educational expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop long-term relationships with customers and contribute to account development and revenue growth.
• Provide on-site education and consulting services to customers and support field personnel in delivering excellent customer service.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans for specific business units and regions.
• Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness and provide technical support for our products.

Product Champion
o Be the Medtronic product expert and champion for our products and therapies.
o Provide on-site implant and follow-up support to customers.
o Work with local marketing and sales organizations to develop effective training and education events.
o Assist in the development of sales and education materials for our products and therapies.

Customer Education
o Train customers on the safe and efficacious use of Medtronic products.
o Provide technical explanations and demonstrations to customers, including physicians, staff, and administration.
o Consult with physicians during the use and/or implantation of Medtronic products.
o Solicit feedback from customers regarding product performance and design and relay such feedback to stakeholder teams.

Technical and Clinical Resource
o Provide technical support for all product implants, including troubleshooting and gathering input from the field regarding market trends, customer satisfaction, competition, and product issues.
o Track and provide data collection support for ongoing clinical studies as requested.

Sales Interface
o Serve as a field resource to Account Managers for Medtronic products and provide regular and structured communication to the sales organization regarding communication with current accounts and potential customers.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 8 years of clinical specialist experience with a medical device pacing company or 7 years of experience with 2 years of prior healthcare or engineering experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, passion, and drive.
• Business acumen, presentation skills, and the ability to impart knowledge and train as required.
