Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist

About the Role:
As a Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist at Boston Scientific, you will play a critical role in supporting the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division. Your primary focus will be on providing clinical support to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and driving business growth through focused support.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical support to customers, addressing a wide range of issues related to electrophysiology procedure case support, device implantation, troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations, keeping them informed about the latest product, therapy, and technology developments.
• Perform clinical and library research, participate in case reviews, and clinical observations with physicians and hospital lab staff.
• Attend unit implants and support EP procedures in hospital labs and operation rooms, ensuring patient follow-up to guarantee customer and patient success with implanted products.
• Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints, discussing and demonstrating how company products can help them achieve their objectives.
• Develop business relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts and identify key decision-makers, facilitating future sales.
• Respond to complex customer needs and complaints, developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
• Manage and provide technical support for clinical trial activity within assigned territory, supporting the site authorization process and study procedures as defined in the clinical investigational plan.
• Provide initial and continuous training, education, and support for clinical center personnel on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products, and features under investigation, and procedures involving those products and features.
Requirements:
• Must possess a university degree (BSc or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of medical device or hospital experience in a clinical support role in the cardiac sciences space
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting ECGs
• Experience and understanding of electrophysiology procedures
• Track record of outstanding clinical support that drives excellence in the field
• Strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel Canada-wide
