About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Specialist to join our team at the Amynta Group. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective communications strategies to engage our industry, consumer, and company audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Identity Management: Ensure all marketing materials, both internal and external, adhere to our company's corporate brand standards and overall brand experience.
  • Strategic Messaging: Assist in developing communications strategies, including recommendations on messaging, channel usage, timing, and cadence.
  • Communications Process Creation and Execution: Identify and document the different stages of creating and drafting communicative pieces, and understand the key players involved and approvals process.
  • Content Creation and Copywriting: Drive written content creation and execution activities to effectively differentiate our products and services for dealers, dealer groups, OEMs, and consumers.
  • Social Media Planning: Create and run a daily, weekly, and monthly social calendar on LinkedIn and other social outlets.
  • Optimize Communications Channels: Contribute to the planning and implementation of content across all platforms, including creation of videos, graphics, illustrations, animations, social media posts, and website content.
  • Media Relations: Foster effective relationships with media and industry contacts to support our position as a thought-leading F&I provider in Canada.
  • Brand Awareness and Reach: Create communications content that is utilized consistently across all touchpoints, both internal and external, to increase our brand awareness and extended reach.
  • Creativity: Think creatively, providing new ideas and concepts for the positioning and development of various marketing and communications materials.
  • Timelines: Work at a fast pace and employ effective time management skills to ensure timelines are met and internal requests are responded to in a timely, professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Employ a team approach to contribute to the overall success of the marketing group.
Requirements
  • College or university degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications/PR, digital media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years communications, public relations, marketing, or executive communications experience.
  • Mandatory English and French verbal and written fluency.
  • F&I and/or automotive/finance/insurance industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Dealer, Dealer Group, and OEM dynamics.
  • Demonstrated Digital, Web, and CRM communications expertise.
  • Proven ability to execute innovative and creative communication techniques.
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to distil complex ideas into understandable and non-technical language.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with excellent interpersonal and proof-reading skills.
  • Confident in interacting with executives and senior management and effectively presenting a point of view across varying levels of the organization.
  • Strong proficiency using electronic communication technology and software, specifically MailChimp, Outlook, SharePoint, Survey tools, Adobe Pro, and social media platforms (LinkedIn).
  • Strong graphic design/visualization skills, including understanding of style, consistency, and color sense.
  • Results-focused and deadline-sensitive.
  • Media trained.
