About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Greater Sudbury Police Service in its mission to champion community safety, security, and wellness. This will involve developing and implementing strategies to address the unique challenges of policing in a growing northern community, while ensuring the highest standards of integrity, dedication, and professionalism across the Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Greater Sudbury Police Service in its mission to provide public safety and protection to the community

  • Build and maintain partnerships with the community, stakeholders, and other organizations to enhance the effectiveness of the Service
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced law enforcement executive with a proven track record of leadership and strategic decision-making. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals.
