Job Title: Director of Identity and Access Management Process Models

The IAM Onboarding & Governance Team at RBC - Royal Bank is seeking a Director to lead the design and maintenance of enterprise-wide IAM Process models. This role will consult and support the strategic implementation and processes covering all aspects of IAM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain enterprise-wide IAM Process models
  • Consult and support strategic implementation and processes covering all aspects of IAM
  • Measure and monitor operational effectiveness of IAM Processes
  • Support Audit, Regulatory, and third-party requests for evidence
  • Provide subject matter expertise to project teams and LoB in translating requirements into business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, and technical specifications
  • Compile IAM metrics collection from IAM Processes and Procedures to present IAM Governance documentation for senior leadership forums
  • Work with business partners and application teams across RBC Enterprise to document IAM related control designs
  • Provide direction in the optimization, efficiency, and capacity planning for the Process & Metrics team
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute with minimal direction or oversight in a high-pressure environment with emotional intelligence
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and solutions designs for efficient security controls
  • Proficient technical experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience presenting to senior management forums
  • Understanding of Business and Technical Strategies
  • Excellent understanding of risk concepts and frameworks
  • Builds a High Performance Culture - lead change and continuous renewal while building capabilities of employees and teams
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Professional certification(s) related to information security or information risk management such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP
  • Extensive experience in IAM technologies, compute platforms, technology / application support, application portfolio management technologies being delivered at large organizations (preferably financial institutions)
