Key Responsibilities:
- Identify correct parts by working closely with customers to determine their specific needs and requirements.
- Develop unit-specific parts kits to streamline maintenance and repair processes for our customers.
- Manage customer inventory strategy to ensure optimal stock levels and timely availability of parts.
- Collaborate with customers and sales teams to propose replacement units for obsolete equipment or suggest factory options for updates and material changes to existing units.
- Advise customers and service personnel on the work scope for different types of equipment and provide guidance on maintenance-related specifications.
- Ensure accurate documentation of parts usage, inventory levels, and customer interactions using appropriate software and systems.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations and effective communication.
- Act as a technical resource for customers, providing assistance and guidance on equipment-related inquiries and issues.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma
- Experience with CAD an asset
- Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of machinery and equipment functionality.
- Previous experience working in a shop or Parts Fulfillment Environment
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex equipment and parts specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain utmost confidentiality at all times with tact, diplomacy and integrity.
