**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Animator to join our team at PlayStation. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality real-time animations that bring our games to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the animation team to develop and implement animation styles and techniques that meet the project's requirements.
  • Assist in the integration, testing, and debugging of animation data to ensure seamless gameplay experiences.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop prototypes and animation systems that enhance the artistic vision of our games.
  • Provide feedback on animation tools and pipelines to ensure they meet the team's needs.
  • Implement feedback and iterate on animations to ensure they meet the desired quality and style.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on AAA games or equivalent projects.
  • Proficient in keyframed and mocap animation skills.
  • Basic understanding of animation theory and techniques.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the human body and facial anatomy.
  • Familiarity with animation schematics.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to illustrate ideas effectively.
  • Passion and ambition for creating high-quality games.
