About the Role

Horizon Health Network is seeking a skilled Prevention Coordinator to join our team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting health and well-being in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate information sessions and community consultations to identify needs and solutions surrounding addiction and mental health.
  • Design and evaluate community action programs to address addiction and mental health issues.
  • Build partnerships with community groups and stakeholders to develop and implement regional suicide prevention frameworks.
  • Manage the suicide prevention budget and explore opportunities for funding regional initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • University degree in social work, health sciences, or social sciences with 3-5 years of experience.
  • College certificate or diploma with 7-10 years of experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Written and spoken competence in English at an advanced level.
