Job Summary

The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and adjustments to various systems and equipment within the establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, and repairing equipment and systems.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure and healthy environment.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Dependability and reliability are essential for this role.
Work Environment

The Building Maintenance Worker will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The physical demands of the job require the ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
