Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DME Investments Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
- Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring timely delivery
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food service staff
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and menu development, ensuring that our offerings remain innovative and appealing to customers
- Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented to the highest standards
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
