Position Overview

The CAA Club Group is seeking a skilled Property Damage Analyst to join our team. As a Property Damage Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving incoming vendor estimates to ensure quality and technical competence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve vendor estimates to ensure quality and technical competence.
  • Provide scope review and seek clarity from vendors on estimates, negotiate costs with vendors/contractors.
  • Offer dispute-resolution services on estimate reviews relative to the CAA member, vendors, and the Insurance company.
  • Provide advice to Property adjusters when exceptions are encountered.
  • Coordinate appraisal resources to ensure assignments are dispatched.
  • Participate in industry events and special projects for the benefit of the claims department.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in building construction as a project manager or senior property adjuster with an insurance carrier.
  • Working knowledge of XACTANALYSIS platform and XACTIMATE software.
  • Familiarity with building codes and hazardous material exposure management.
  • Relevant post-secondary education complemented by a CIP designation or working towards a CIP designation.
  • IICRC Fire and Water restoration certification would be an asset.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skillset with excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of property damage analysis.
  • Advanced negotiation skills and investigative logic.
