Production Manager

Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing operation, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of production functions. This individual will be responsible for managing employees, planning and implementing production schedules, promoting safety and quality standards, and supporting company goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective production department planning, policies, and procedures.
- Assist Senior Management in developing short and long-term goals and objectives.
- Participate in developing department policies and procedures, ensuring they support company-wide strategic objectives.
- Conduct periodic reviews of existing policies, ensuring they are updated and aligned with evolving production and quality standards.
- Oversee production and assembly processes, supervising assembly, inspection, and shipment of products.
- Monitor and supervise production quality, identifying problems and resolving them quickly and effectively.
- Regulate work flow to ensure maximum production capacity, monitoring the floor production schedule to ensure products are completed according to deadlines.
- Ensure production functions are completed in accordance with established production, safety, and quality standards.
- Effectively supervise assigned personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide leadership through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a related role.
- College degree or equivalent education, with additional education or training in manufacturing preferred.
- Strong understanding of production procedures, standards, and quality control systems.
- Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
