Production Manager

Job Summary
The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing operation, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of production functions. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage employees, promote safety, and support company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective production planning, policies, and procedures.
- Assist Senior Management in developing short and long-term goals and objectives.
- Participate in developing Department policies and procedures to support company-wide strategic objectives.
- Conduct periodic reviews of existing policies to ensure they align with evolving production and quality standards.
- Oversee production and assembly processes, supervising assembly, inspection, and shipment of products.
- Monitor and supervise production quality, identifying problems and resolving them quickly and effectively.
- Regulate work flow to ensure maximum production capacity and monitor the floor production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Ensure that production functions are completed in accordance with established production, safety, and quality standards.
- Provide leadership through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication.
- Direct and assign personnel, providing assistance and support as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a related role.
- College degree or equivalent education, with additional education or training in Manufacturing preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and ERP system.
- Well-organized, with planning and time management skills, and a strong understanding of production procedures and quality control standards.
