The Rehabilitation Assistant position at Bayshore Healthcare is an exciting opportunity to support individuals in achieving their maximum potential. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and promoting independence in daily living activities.

About the Role

">

This full-time position involves working under the direction of assigned supervisors to ensure the delivery of treatment programs as prescribed by regulated health care practitioners. Key responsibilities include implementing rehabilitation programs, promoting client independence, and documenting progress.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Implement rehabilitation programs with clients as directed by Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and/or Speech and Language Pathologists;">
  • Promote maximum independence of clients in their homes, communities, and workplaces to support reintegration into society;">
  • Develop and implement exercise programs or group exercise classes as directed;">
  • Facilitate and supervise activities of daily living, social, educational/vocational reintegration plans, as directed;">
  • Attend case conferences and team meetings as required;">
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities;">
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discuss same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel;">
  • Perform other tasks as requested.">

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant College Program;">
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance are also required.">
