Job Summary:

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency team at Richmond Hospital in Richmond, BC. The successful candidate will provide emergency nursing care to clients of all ages, assessing client needs and prioritizing care requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency nursing care to clients of all ages, including stabilization and resuscitation of multi-trauma victims.
  • Assess client needs and prioritize care requirements, often with limited information.
  • Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain and advance clinical competence through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing or two years' recent, related experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
