Job Summary:
The Night Supervisor is a key member of our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for overseeing the night shift operations at our Food Store. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the smooth execution of daily tasks and the provision of exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct night shift staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Oversee the management of inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotation of merchandise.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations, as well as maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Collaborate with the Grocery Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to enhance their performance and skills.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns during the night shift.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs or greater.
