Job Description

This Medical Office Assistant role involves providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare clients. Key responsibilities include greeting patients warmly, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, scheduling appointments, managing the office calendar efficiently, maintaining and updating patient records, handling phone calls and emails, and supporting billing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in Medical Office Administration is preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is an asset
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in medical office software and MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is a must
  • A compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Experience with Operating Room Booking is preferred
