Job Description
This Medical Office Assistant role involves providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare clients. Key responsibilities include greeting patients warmly, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, scheduling appointments, managing the office calendar efficiently, maintaining and updating patient records, handling phone calls and emails, and supporting billing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Medical Office Administration is preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in medical office software and MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with EMR systems is a must
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Experience with Operating Room Booking is preferred
