Job Title: Home Visitor

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Visitor to join our team at the Northern Health Region.

Job Summary:

The Home Visitor will provide support and assistance to clients in their homes, promoting independence and well-being. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Demonstrate infant care to new parents
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment:

The Home Visitor will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community locations. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances.
