Job Title: Home Visitor

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Visitor to join our team at the Northern Health Region. As a Home Visitor, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:

The Home Visitor will assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing and personal hygiene, and provide education and support on infant care. You will also shop for food and household supplies, and perform other tasks as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Demonstrate infant care to new parents
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Perform other tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus and dependability
  • Flexibility and initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Home Visitor will work in various locations, including clients' homes, and will be required to travel to different areas. The work environment will be non-smoking, and the Home Visitor will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
