Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 822557 ONTARIO INC. MOM'S RESTAURANT. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
• Food Order Summaries: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that orders are accurate and complete.
• Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
• Language: English.
• Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.

Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
