Job Title: Tile Setter

ZEALOUS GRANITE & TILE LTD. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to work on various locations, preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting tiles, aligning and straightening them, and cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Install tile strips
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile setting
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
  • Steel-toed safety boots
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in various locations, with a 40-hour workweek and a permanent work term. English is the primary work language.
