About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at ZEALOUS GRANITE & TILE LTD. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile, setting tiles in place, and applying pressure to affix them to the base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of debris.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to determine the correct placement of tiles.
  • Set tiles in place, using a variety of tools and techniques to ensure a secure and even fit.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite tiles.
  • Install tile strips to complete the installation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
