Job Title: Tile Setter

ZEALOUS GRANITE & TILE LTD. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to install tile and stone surfaces in various locations. The successful candidate will have experience working with different types of tile and stone, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tile and stone
  • Set tile and stone in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tile and stone
  • Cut and fit tile and stone around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Install tile strips
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile setting
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
