About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Orangebird Building Maintenance Inc. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of grounds maintenance staff
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including snow removal and equipment repair
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Manage labor and materials budgets, and tender and administer contracts as needed
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication and client focus skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong initiative and judgement skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work site environment is outdoors, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Language
