Nursery Labourer

B.C. LTD. is seeking a skilled Nursery Labourer to join our team in a variety of horticultural tasks. As a Nursery Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the care and maintenance of our greenhouse and outdoor plants, including tasks such as:

  • Assisting in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
  • Mixing and preparing soils
  • Planting bulbs and seeds
  • Potting and re-potting plants
  • Transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Reporting signs of insect or disease damage
  • Assisting in grafting activities
  • Digging up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
  • Cleaning work areas

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the care and maintenance of greenhouse and outdoor plants
  • Perform tasks such as pruning, mixing soils, planting, potting, and transplanting
  • Report signs of insect or disease damage
  • Assist in grafting activities
  • Clean work areas

Requirements:

  • Will train
