Nursery Labourer Job Description

B.C. LTD. is seeking a skilled Nursery Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our horticultural team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our nursery and greenhouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
  • Greenhouse cleaning and maintenance
  • Weeding and pruning of plants and trees
  • Mixing and preparing soils for planting
  • Planting bulbs and seeds
  • Potting and re-potting plants
  • Transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Reporting signs of insect or disease damage
  • Assisting in grafting activities
  • Digging up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
  • Cleaning work areas
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
