About the Role

  • Maintain and grow the existing book of business
  • Review and apply pricing, terms, and conditions to new and renewal business
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with retail producing brokers by encouraging additional submission inflow
  • Provide feedback and market intelligence to the Ontario team

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail producing brokers
  • Review and analyze data to inform underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with the Ontario team to provide feedback and market intelligence

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience
  • Level 1 - General Insurance license (or the ability to obtain within a certain time frame)
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM, FCIP or working towards finalizing a designation is preferred

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 CAD - $90,000 CAD based on experience and qualifications, as well as a bonus structure, company-matched RRSPs, extended medical benefits through Canada Life, and continuing education and professional designation subsidy.
