Job Description
This Director of Risk and Compliance will be responsible for assisting the Operational Risk Officer in overseeing operational risk mitigation activities, including the design, implementation, and execution of an effective risk governance and management program. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Asset Management Industry across various private market and general account asset classes, as well as knowledge of the related investment vehicles used globally to deliver investment strategies in these asset classes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A strong working knowledge of the wealth and asset management industry and familiarity with the current regulatory environment are essential. The ideal candidate will also possess proven expertise and knowledge of ORM concepts and practices, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments, Risk Indicators, risk events, and scenario analysis. Strong collaboration and partnering skills, as well as the ability to develop effective working relationships with business and functional partners to influence decisions, are also required.
