Senior Process Engineer - Energy Transition

Wood is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our Oil & Gas Canada business, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects across various industries, including oil and gas, energy transition, and petrochemicals.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned engineer with a strong background in process engineering, technical safety, and client-facing skills. Your expertise will be essential in driving project success, from study phase to detailed design. You will work closely with our team to deliver projects that meet our clients' requirements and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of process engineering standards and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with APEGA.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in refining, petrochemicals, or oil & gas industries.
  • Proficient in HYSYS and/or ProMax.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate with team members across multiple offices.
  • PHA experience required.
