Job Overview

Canada Post is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant to provide exceptional customer service to the community. As a key representative of our organization, you will be responsible for selling postal products and services, sorting and distributing mail, and addressing customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell postal products and services to businesses and individuals
  • Sort, distribute, and process mail efficiently
  • Provide customers with information and forms as needed
  • Resolve delivery and service issues in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in business administration
  • Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail environment, including sales and cash transactions
  • Understanding of general accounting systems and procedures
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work temporary, on-call shifts

Location

This role is located in the Lac-des-Aigles region, covering multiple post offices, including Biencourt, La Trinité-des-Monts, and Lac-des-Aigles. Candidates must reside within a 50 km radius of the post office or be willing to relocate.
