About the Role

Navacord is seeking a highly experienced Strategic Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in a national or multi-regional role within the insurance or financial services sectors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Leadership
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance Navacord's national brand visibility and support its long-term growth objectives.
    • Lead a head office team while collaborating with broker partner marketing teams to ensure cohesive, consistent messaging across the network.
    • Accountable for annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Financial Services Marketing and Sales Support
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies for promoting products, services, and segment expertise supporting cross-sell opportunities and broker partner collaboration.
    • Work closely with sales teams to create targeted marketing campaigns that drive client acquisition, retention, and brand recognition.
  • Brand, Communications, and Thought Leadership
    • Lead rebranding initiatives, ensuring the alignment of internal and external communications.
    • Manage Navacord's national brand positioning, ensuring that messaging across all channels strengthens the company's reputation.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Support
    • Support marketing efforts related to M&A activities, including integration strategies, rebranding, and positioning for acquired broker partners.

About You

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across a decentralized network.

  • Experience in marketing insurance products or professional services is highly preferred.
