  • As a key member of the Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc. kitchen team, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and service, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff.Key Responsibilities:
    • Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
    • Train and develop kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation procedures.
    • Monitor and control inventory, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff performance, and customer feedback.
    • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop and implement menu changes, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
    • Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    Requirements:
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Working Conditions:
    • Noisy and fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and walking.
    • Combination of sitting and standing during the workday.
