Job Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to fill the role of Public Health Resource Nurse. This position plays a vital part in providing clinical advice, support, mentorship, and education to personnel responsible for delivering public health services in Primary Care Homes and interprofessional teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating public health support, as well as monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on public health key indicators.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical advice and support to personnel responsible for delivering public health services
Develop and implement public health support plans
Monitor and evaluate public health key indicators
Collaborate with Regional Public Health Leads, IPT Leads, Primary Care Nurses, and Community Service Managers

Requirements

Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
Two years recent, related public health nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Current BCCDC Immunization Certification
Current CPR certification at the basic life support level
Class V Driver's License
