Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Restaurant lunenburg.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and taking corrective action as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that inventory levels are optimized and costs are minimized.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, providing updates on team performance, inventory levels, and any other relevant information.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
