Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Alpha's Discovery Club Inc. as a permanent employee.

Work Environment

Our childcare centre is located in an urban area and provides a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment for our children to thrive.

Job Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Assist early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that encourage creativity, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings to local points of interest.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of art, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development.
  • Guide children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents and guardians.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems.
Requirements
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • Criminal record check, medical exam, and vulnerable sector check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
