Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in Frankfort, KY. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and shutting down automated welding and metal forming equipment
  • Running production jobs while meeting and/or exceeding production, set up, and quality standards
  • Conducting regular quality inspections
  • Conducting troubleshooting and change overs
  • Performing necessary rework and minor repairs on non-conforming parts
  • Operating PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, and mechanical stamping presses, or automated welding systems
  • Reading blueprints and using a tape measure

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years recent machine operator experience
  • 5 years previous steady work history
  • Recent experience in performing machine set ups
  • Experience operating equipment such as PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, and mechanical stamping presses, or automated welding systems
  • Experience reading blueprints and using a tape measure
  • Computer knowledge
