Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in Frankfort, KY. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting up and shutting down automated welding and metal forming equipment
- Running production jobs while meeting and/or exceeding production, set up, and quality standards
- Conducting regular quality inspections
- Conducting troubleshooting and change overs
- Performing necessary rework and minor repairs on non-conforming parts
- Operating PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, and mechanical stamping presses, or automated welding systems
- Reading blueprints and using a tape measure
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years recent machine operator experience
- 5 years previous steady work history
- Recent experience in performing machine set ups
- Experience operating equipment such as PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, and mechanical stamping presses, or automated welding systems
- Experience reading blueprints and using a tape measure
- Computer knowledge
