About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at A Nicer Motel. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, common areas, and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Support: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, reliability, values and ethics.
Work Environment

A Nicer Motel is a non-smoking environment. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Language and Transportation

We require English as the primary language for communication. Own transportation is an asset.
