At Paul Babber & Associates Ltd. - Public Accounting Firm, we are seeking a skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, analyzing clients' financial records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for preparing financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, as well as preparing financial statements and reports. Additionally, you will be required to analyze financial documents and reports, and keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Analyze clients' financial records
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Analyze financial documents and reports
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting and taxation
  • Certified General Accountants (CGA) - level 3
  • Proficiency in CANTAX, Quick Books, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
