Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team at Paul Babber & Associates Ltd. - Public Accounting Firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, analyzing clients' financial records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Analyze clients' financial records
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  • Analyze financial documents and reports
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Requirements
  • Certified General Accountants (CGA) - level 3
  • Proficiency in CANTAX, Quick Books, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to multitask effectively.
