Job Title: Taxation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team at Paul Babber & Associates Ltd. - Public Accounting Firm. As a Taxation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, analyzing clients' financial records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Analyze clients' financial records
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  • Analyze financial documents and reports
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting
  • Certified General Accountants (CGA) - level 3
  • Proficiency in CANTAX, Quick Books, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
