About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi K. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new sushi menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Chef Management: Train and supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
