We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Victoria Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Permanent employment, working 30 hours per week.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
