Job Summary

2XL Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial transport truck systems, ensuring our fleet is in top condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure our fleet is running efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification and Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
