Job Summary

2XL Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including trailer systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Component Replacement: Repair or replace mechanical units or components, and adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification and Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, and reliable.
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week, with a health care plan and permanent work term.
Language and Work Environment

The primary language of work is English, and the work environment is based in a commercial transport setting.
