Senior Total Wealth Planner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Total Wealth Planner to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Financial Planning Advisory team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning advice and support to high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver end-to-end goals-based financial plans by gathering key data, preparing and analyzing financial plans, and presenting strategies to clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and champion for financial planning, providing ongoing professional advice on complex strategies and fostering collaboration among team members.
  • Develop professional relationships with external experts and internal advisors to drive collaboration and provide optimal service to clients.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the Financial Planning Advisory team by participating in team learning and development activities, building effective working relationships, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
  • Professional designation: CPA
  • University degree
  • Accredited financial planning designation (IQPF applicable for Quebec)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a high net worth financial planner
Desirable Qualifications:
  • TEP designation
  • Life Insurance license
  • Professional designation (CMA, CGA, LLB)
  • Canadian Securities Course
  • Additional estate and/or tax courses
