Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team in the Emergency department at Chetwynd General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care.
  • Develop a specialized body of knowledge and base practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
Education and Experience

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Advanced preparation in an ED clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education & experience.

Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to complete initial and ongoing client assessments and provide nursing care through appropriate technical, therapeutic, safety type interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, the public, medical staff, and the members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve effectively.
