About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animal Husbandry Specialist to join our team at 2830271 Ontario Inc. As an Animal Husbandry Specialist, you will be responsible for the overall management of our farm operations, including animal care, feed management, and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Direct farm grooming activities, handle animals, monitor animal health, and oversee the activities of clearing the fields.
  • Feed Management: Manage feed inventory activities, maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties, including cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in animal husbandry or a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and excellent oral communication skills.
