FPInnovations is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team as an intern for the Winter 2025 term.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development of new HSE policies and procedures through research and analysis of best practices.
- Support the training organization by developing and delivering training programs.
- Assist in the implementation of a new HSE platform and ensure its effective use across the organization.
- Carry out follow-ups with OHS committees to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the collection and analysis of data related to risk analysis and accident investigations.
- Produce analysis reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Perform legal and normative reviews to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's undergraduate University program with a specialty in HSE.
- Knowledge of British-Columbia and Quebec HSE legislation is an asset.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate curiosity and creativity in approaching HSE challenges.
- Fluency in English and French (oral and written).
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and open to learning and growth.
