Job Title: Application System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Application System Engineer to join our team at Canada Goose. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the strategic needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and improve software applications aligned with the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Work as a bridge between business partners and engineering teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Solve complex scenarios and issues within an agile or waterfall project structure.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of application systems with each upgrade or new implementation.
  • Lead the creation and review of technical documentation.
  • Create and manage production deployment plans.
  • Plan for and align application security models according to best practices and license efficiency.
  • Interact with the user community to solve problems, augment system functionality, and improve the user experience.
  • Develop test case scenarios for QA and UAT.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of D365 ERP, Salesforce, and D365 CE is an asset.
  • Experience working with agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Minimum of 2 full system implementations in a full Retail model or point of sale application.
  • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-BAP, or accompanying certification MSFT, Azure, Cloud, Salesforce services are also an asset.
  • D365 Commerce experience is an asset.
  • Retail certification is preferred.
  • Cloud, networks, server, IT security, and programming.
  • Specialist in at least one programming language (e.g., Python or Java).
  • Comprehend and compose complex SQL and M Queries.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding and experience in headless commerce engine, business process, and unified data.
